The ZEV Tech Tungsten Guide rod with its added weight will soften and reduce felt recoil. The guide rod is designed with a replaceable head that can be changed if/when necessary thus extending the usable life of the part, it can also be run captured or uncaptured. Various lengths are available for compact, small frame, large frame, and long slide Glocks. The ZEV Tungsten Guide rod is compatible with Gen 4 Glock with the use of guide rod reducing ring. As expected from Glockworx the very best materials are used and as always made in America by Americans.
  • High quality Tungsten adds weight to front of the gun to soften felt recoil and reduce muzzle flip
  • Can be run captured or uncaptured. (Note Long Slide Guiderod only comes as uncaptured)
  • Compatible with ZEV Recoil spring (recommended) or other brand round coil or flat coil ISMI recoil springs. Not compatable with Glock factory recoil springs.
  • Replacable head
  • Long Slide Tungsten Guide Rod (Glock 34, 35, 17L and 24) weights in at 2.1
  • Small Frame Tungsten Guide Rod (Glock 17, 22, 31, 37) weighs in at 1.6 oz
  • Compact Tungsten Guide Rod (Glock 19, 23, 32, 38) weighs in at 1.47 oz
  • Large Frame Tungsten Guide Rod  (Glock 20 and 21)Weighs in at 1.7 oz.

    Comments: WOW. This thing is heavy. Best $55 I ever spent on a weapon. It keeps muzzle flip down and adds overall weight to the Glock which absorbs a lot of felt recoil. If you add this to your Glock, I recommend adding a ZEV Mag Well also. If you do that, the add...
